Beam Aboard The International Federation of Trekkers Website
In Memory of Majel Barrett-Roddenberry
The Federation mourns the passing of Majel Barrett-Roddenberry and we grieve with Rod and his friends at this time. When Gene was helping to create IFT, Majel was also there to help us. From her contributions of cases and cases of items for us to give away at charity events to always having time to talk with us, Majel was not only the First Lady of Star Trek, but she was also the mother of the Federation and we will miss her. I know she is now back in Gene’s arms. She was a good woman; a strong woman. She was Mom and she will be very missed.
Russ Haslage, President
International Federation of Trekkers
Welcome to The Ultimate Star Trek Fan Club
Hello to all Star Trek fans!
The International Federation of Trekkers (IFT) is one of the world leaders of Star Trek fandom. We are a non-profit organization with Star Trek chapters in the United States and around the world. The dedication and dream of Star Trek fans everywhere helped to make IFT a success.
IFT members and IFT chapters raise funds for charities, perform public services, attend Star Trek conventions and events, write Star Trek fan fiction, and otherwise, have a lot of fun! We are also the official Star Trek fan club for Star Trek: Phase II (formerly Star Trek: New Voyages), a Star Trek fan film that has had huge online success. Please explore our website to learn more about us and our goal of living TODAY Gene Roddenberry's dream of the future when he created Star Trek.
When our President, Russ Haslage, first approached Gene Roddenberry about a Star Trek fan organization that would celebrate Star Trek fandom by supporting charities and performing public services, "The Ultimate Star Trek Fan Club" was the working name they used as the glimmer that would become IFT. We became IFT when Gene decided to emphasize the word "Trekkers" to show that fans were ordinary people with normal lives, united as Star Trek fans on a mutual journey with a universal hope of a better future. We are "Living the Dream," and we want you to join us!

Change in Membership Dues! |

| IFT has not changed membership dues for more than a decade. The old fees have become insufficient to cover shipping and handling fees, as well as other incurred costs, including the addition of items to the membership packages and the new IFT website host and listserv. IFT has updated their membership fees to reflect these needs, while keeping them as affordable as possible. |
